Our top 10 cars from the wonderful Salon Prive London 2023

Here are our top 10 cars from Salon Privé London 2023. It was as great a show again, as it was last year.  A lovely day out, at a lovely and historic venue (the beautiful lawns of Royal Hospital Chelsea), the weather again was glorious, beautifully sunny, if not warmest, but then it is April and not July, so just pleased it was dry.  20 luxury brands, 24 classic car dealers.  There were nine car reveals.  The Lamborghini Stellato was sadly stuck on the wrong side of the channel so was a no show.  The Lamborghini Stellato  (if you did not know) is a crazy mad Max off-road supercar that will be the last petrol engine Lamborghini that we see before they go hybrid.

Hats have to be tilted to the event organisers who always do a great job and get a great collection of cars on display and lots of premium brands to show their products.

Alongside the latest and greatest supercars on display, was the Concours de Vente – where over 70 stunning classic cars are for sale, if you had very deep pockets, it has to be said.

Plus lovers of luxury were not disappointed with their Luxury Shopping Village – featuring boats, helicopters, jewellery, perfumes, hats, fashion, motorcycles and more.

Tickets were for sale for a very reasonable £50, with half-price entry for under 16s and free admission for under 4s. Family ticket £130

So anyway, back to our top 10 cars from the wonderful Salon Prive London 2023. As any regular followers will know, it’s always very difficult to narrow down to just a selection of 10 cars, when there are hundreds of cars on display.  I have done my best here to highlight my favourite 10 cars, based on the cars that I would most like to own/drive, if money was no object.  I have placed the cars in order with my favourites highlighted first.  Do let me know if you think my car order is in the wrong order, as we always like to hear your thoughts.

Ferrari F40

For sale at £POA. I’d guess between £1.5-2m. Love this car. It’s on the bucket list to drive one day, not sure I’ll ever be able to own. 🙁

.

Lamborghini Miura

For sale at £1.25m. Again I adore this car, work of art. Epic.

.

1960 Cegga 250 TR Sanction

For sale £POA.  Just a super super looking car. Just beautiful.  We love it. You can read more on this car here. This car has it all: a unique 250 Testa Rossa with fascinating provenance; Goodwood Revival pedigree; FIA HTP papers; UK road registration; concours win; magazine coverage and a documentary in the wings.

1960 Cegga-Ferrari 250 CR Sanction

.

Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato

For sale at £1.8m. In my opinion one of the most beautiful cars of all time, but shame about the price, another car way out of my reach. Doh! I’ll just have to hunt down another beautiful Zagato.

.

2005 Maserati MC12

For sale at £POA of course. “If you have to ask the price, you cannot afford it”. A beautiful and purposeful car, just how we like it.

.

2005 Porsche Carrera GT

For sale at £1.1m. An iconic and very cool car in our opinion. Not a car I would look to own (if I had the money), but boy would I love to drive it.

2005 Porsche Carrera GT

.

2005 Ford GT

For sale at £439,995. For me personally I like the original more and the newest incarnation, however, the Ford GT is a cool and iconic car, and I’d love to drive it, or any Ford GT.

1973 Porsche 911 2.7 MFI European specification

For sale at £220k. Absolutely love the colour and it just drew me towards it in the sunshine. I will for sure one day have green car (and I do not mean Electric). Beautiful. Oh it’s also an iconic Porsche 911, so so cool.

1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT

For sale £499,995.  It’s absolutely gorgeous in white. For me this is way over priced, but cool nonetheless.

1961 Aston Martin DB4 GT

For sale £POA. Dark grey and immaculate. Just a very cool and beautiful car. Love it.
