Salon Privé 2025 – The Amazing Green Collection
Emerald is the colour of a 20-year anniversary, so think of this stunning collection as Salon Privé’s birthday present!
AIl 20 of the cars in this special collection have only two things in common are all superlative examples of their kind, and they are all painted green. Although they run the whole palette from British Racing Green to eye-popping fluoro, they’re all as precious as emeralds to us – what a fitting way to celebrate Salon Prive’s emerald anniversary.
We found vintage racers mixing it with reimagined concept cars, a limited edition Bentley rubbing shoulders with a rare Bugatti, supercars both new and old, and evocative badges such as Aston Martin, Ferrari, Koenigsegg, Lamborghini and Porsche.
Bentley is straddling history with cars that represent its past and its future. The achingly evocative 3L Vanden Plas Le Mans was built specifically for Le Mans in 1927, and was one of a trio entered by Bentley. It is the only one of those cars still in existence and continued to race until 1997, when it underwent a 10-year restoration in order to get it back to the exact specification it was when it started that race in 1927.
It was finished just in time for the 100th Anniversary of Bentley celebrations in 2019 and in true ‘Bentley Boy’ style, the car was driven from the UK to Le Mans, took part in a celebratory race and was then driven back to England. It was a class winner at Pebble Beach that same year. The car sits with another fine racing Bentley that is both classic and brand new – a Speed Six Continuation Series, built new by the factory to the exact 95-year-old specification of the original double Le Mans winner, complete with 6.5-litre 200bhp straight-six engine.
Finally there is the Bentley Batur, the new two-door grand touring coupe that represents the start of a design revolution at Crewe. Built by the company’s in-house coachbuilding division, Mulliner, Batur is a showcase for the new design DNA that will inform the forthcoming range of electric Bentleys. But that nod to the future also includes a salute to the past, as the limited-run Batur will feature the September Song of the iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine, in its most powerful ever guise.

Another real head-turner was the Jaguar C-X75 (above), reengineered, redefined and entirely reimagined by the team at CALLUM. Once dubbed the one that got away, this is no replica or tribute – it’s a masterfully realised, one-of-one road-going supercar that finally fulfils the C-X75’s extraordinary promise. Developed in close partnership with the owner, this latest commission pushes the concept far beyond is original inspiration. With a completely reimagined interior, advanced powertrain active aerodynamics, and striking new bodywork, it represents the ultimate evolution of Jaguar‘s most iconic never-built concept.

These amazing examples will share the lawn with a unique, tailor-made Ferrari SF90 Ispirationi painted in Verde Francesca with green carbon exterior parts and colour-coded engine bay, a 1970 Lamborghini Miura (above), the 488th of 764 built, which was repainted Miura Verde during a 2018 restoration by Valentino Balboni, and a Koenigsegg CCR, the only example ever to be painted in Jesko Koenigsegg’s race colour of Koenigsegg Racing Green.

Look out for many more legends alongside these extraordinary models, including a Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ 63, McLaren Senna (above), Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, Ferrari Daytona SP3 and a Bugatti Veyron Centenaire (below).

What is your favourite car here?
It’s a tough choice for sure. For me is is the Jaguar C-X75 (above) or the Ferrari Daytona SP3 (below).
