The Porsche 911 4.0 GT3 with a manual gearbox would be my car of choice and the reason being its great performance, rarity and a proper drivers car.

  • Dale Walker-Hyde says:

    Tricky, tricky, tricky…
Going to have to go with my first instinctive thought on this one, how about the original supercar: Lamborghini Miura, elegance, power and a film star to boot. What I wouldn’t give to drive one of those…

A lime green one would be preferred 🙂

For me, based mostly on looks tbh – the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. It’s an absolute classic, and the first ever fuel injected car! The Gullwing doors are vastly underused in cars if you ask me. And just check out those curves – they just don’t make cars like they used to!

  • Kate Loader says:

McLaren P1 – I love the car, especially the design of it, let alone the performance it has.

  • Will Wynn says:

Yep the Subaru has to be right up there for sure.

  • Vera Bahounkova says:

I would go for Subaru WRX STi

  • Daniel Hora says:

    Mercedes AMG CLA 45

  • Linda Moore says:

It has to be Audi RS3 Sportback

  • Petra says:

    I really like a new Lexus LC500.

  • Will Wynn says:

    Now that’s a mental car.

  • Rob Barker says:

Choosing my all-time favourite performance car is quite a challenge when there are so many different contenders, all worthy of being favourite for their own unique reasons!

It is a difficult question to answer but i decided to think a little more outside-the-box and choose Ken Block’s ‘Hoonicorn RTR V2’, the ultimate performance car with the classic styling of a 1965 Ford Mustang mixed with top-end performance from a twin-turboed NASCAR 6.7 V8, developing more than 1,400hp across an AWD drivetrain! I was fortunate enough to see the original Hoonicorn RTR in action a few years back, and found it to be just as, if not more impressive than what it looks in the videos online!

  • Chris Monk says:

My Favourite performance car is the Ferrari LaFerrari due to it combining electric power with Ferrari’s most powerful ever V12. It pushes the boundaries of technology and is the highest performance production Ferrari ever produced. It is also one of the best looking Ferrari’s ever produced.

  • Phill Palmer says:

I love the Aston Martin Vulcan. The plane was awesome to see before it was retired, now we have a car that creates as much noise.

  • Paul Valentine says:

Would have to say the McLaren F1 – ground breaking in so many ways, and hard to believe it’s nearly 25years old. And so generous being able to take two friends for lap alongside you 😉

  • Douglas McMillan says:

My favourite Performance car is the Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera. I was lucky enough to drive one on a track earlier this year. Some performance cars can be driven sensibly to go to the shops, this you can’t it’s savage! That is why I love it, it doesn’t pretend to be anything other than nuts. If only I could own one!

  • Nick Tooley says:

It has to be the Audi R8 V10 Quattro, it has power, sophistication and style.
