You are most welcome Peter. Unfortunately I was very ill in the week leading up to the show, so did not attend. I will be even more keen to get there next year.
I really enjoyed the show at the NEC. I was shocked by just how huge it was! There was a fantastic array of classics, lots of trade stands, autojumble etc.
I watched a couple of talks by Mike Brewer from Wheeler Dealers and watched a really impressive motorcycle trials demonstration by Doug Lampkin and his son Alfie – they were amazing!
There are too many to list all the cars I drooled over, E-Types to Morris Minors, I enjoyed them all. The work that had been put into the restorations is awe inspiring. The only disappointment for me was that I could only find one Triumph Herald! But I could easily have missed others as the show is so big! Anyway, you only need one 🙂
There was quite a bit I missed out such as the restoration workshop and more. A full weekend trip would be needed to see it all properly.
Thank you very much again to Will at MyCarHeaven for my competition win.
I am thrilled to have won tickets and really looking forward to the show!
Hope to see some ‘normal’ favourites such as Heralds and Morris Minors as well as exotics.
I hope to find some bits and bobs in the jumble too…
