Our Top 10 cars on show at Petrolheadonism Live 2022
We attended this years Petrolheadonism Live on the second day, Sunday 25th September. This was the second running of this event (the first Petrolheadonism Live taking place in 2021), and it was a truly unique car show like no other. This show was loud, different, engaging and lots of well known car personalities in attendance, such as Richard Rawlings (Gas Monkey Garage), Helen Stanley (Artist & Presenter specialising in car culture), Shmee150 (You Tuber), Andy C (You Tuber) and many more.
Here is my list of what I saw as my top 10 cars at Petrolheadonism Live 2022. I’ve listed these cars in order of the cars and grabbed my attention the most, that I walked around most and viewed in awe. The cars that I would most like to add to my car collection. See what you think. Let me know what you think about these cars. If you attended the show did you have a favourite car that I’ve not mentioned, let me know.
.
Lamborghini Miura
How could this be not my no. 1 choice from the show. It’s iconic, beautiful and many would say the first supercar of all time. Lovely colour as well. This car featured in the Zaks Garage Collection that was on display at the event.

Ford GT
Absolutely love this car. It looks great in white. I would so love to have one of these cars in my collection. One day maybe.
.
Ford GT40
What petrol loving, motorsport fan would not want the iconic Ford GT40 in their garage. So cool. Looks great in white.
.
1950 Buick Sedanette Special
Wow, just wow. What a beautiful car, lovely metallic orange, immaculate chrome work. Stunning. Maximum respect to the owner. If you ever want to sell get in touch, I’m loving it.
.
Harley Davidson Custom Motorbike
Yes I know it’s not a car, but I absolutely loved this bike. I even tried to track down the owner to see if they would sell it, at what price. A lovely bike and work of art. I do not know much about it other than is was a recent purchase for the owner.
.
Mercury Park Lane
I have no idea on this cars year of manufacture, but what I do know… it’s beautiful in silver. This car is in beautiful condition. I love all of the chrome. The interior is epic. What a beautiful looking car, and maximum respect goes to the owner. Another car I would consider buying in an instant if/ when the owner ever decides to sell.
The Mercury Park Lane is a full-sized automobile that was produced by the Mercury division of Ford Motor Company. While not officially introduced as the replacement of the Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, the Park Lane became the flagship of the Mercury model line upon its introduction. Super cool.
.
1952 Chevrolet 3100 pickup
What a beautiful car. Build by two friends over 12 years, a labour of love and stunning. A work of art. Unfortunately its so nice, it’s only a show car and not really a driver due to the kandy apple paintwork and the owner not wanting to damage. I have produced an article just on this car, which you can read here.
.
Mercedes-Benz Custom Car
This car was very cool, mint condition. Who knows how much time and money was spent on this, but I’d guess £100-200k if I had to put a figure on it. Richard Rawlings apparently loved it and it was his car of the show. This car won 2 or maybe 3 awards on the Sunday. Well done to the owner. Beautiful.
.
Fiat 500
An original Fiat 500 right-hand drive, number plate XPP 419J. Beautiful baby blue paintwork. I’m not sure how original the car is, but it looks great. Hundred percent a modified car, So not a car for the fanatical purist, however, beautifully restored with modern upgrades, which went on to win an award at the show. We love the Fiat 500 on this car was a very special one. Another car I would buy in an instant if/ when ever for sale.
.
BMW Z8
I featured this car mainly due to rarely seeing one, it’s a rare car. In silver, it looks nice. The Z8 originally was designed as a styling exercise intended to evoke and celebrate the 1956–1959 BMW 507. The BMW 507 is the most beautiful BMW ever made in my opinion. The Z8 was produced from1998–2006, with
5,703 made.
.
Pontiac Trans Am
Had to feature this car, as it pretty much looks original and in lovely condition. Momentarily took me back to my youth and memories of Smokey and the Bandit. Yee-ha.

I hope you liked our top 10, more top 10s here. Was one of these cars yours? Did you have a favourite from the show?
