Our 10 Top Cars from the wonderful London Concours 2022
Another late post, but busy, busy, busy and better late than never. Here are our top 10 top cars from the wonderful London Concours 2022. Make sure you watch our walkabout the show here, and you can see more top 10s here.
You can see many more of the photos we took at the London Concours 2022 here on our London Concours 2022 Facebook Album.
I hope you like my top 10. If you were at the show what was your favourite car?
The cars are in order of the cars I most desire:
1962 Ferrari 250 GT California SWB
Featured in the Italian spiders class. What a beauty, with a removable hard top. A beauty.
.
1992 Ferrari F40
Featured in the pursuit of speed class. Arguably one of, if not the most iconic supercar of all time.
.
1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing
Featured in the Great Marques – Mercedes. This car (piece or automotive art) has to be right up there as one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
.
2004 Ferrari Enzo
Featured in the pursuit of speed class. Just a stunning and purposeful looking car, we love it.
.
2021 Ford GT Carbon Series
Featured in the pursuit of speed class. One of my favourite current supercars/ hypercars. Not a fan of this colour, but the design is wonderful.
.
1961 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL
Featured in the great marques – Mercedes class. Just a beautiful looking car, period.
.
2015 Porsche 918
Featured in the pursuit of speed class. What a cool and good looking car.
.
1955 Lancia Aurelia B24 Spider
Featured in the Italian spiders class. What an absolutely beautiful car. This really got my attention and head turning a few times.
.
1960 Chevrolet Corvette
Featured in the collector: The Ahluwalia Collection. This is just a beautiful car, lovely lines, chrome and colours. We love it, a real head turner.
.
1992 Jaguar XJ220
Featured in the pursuit of speed class. An unusual colour for this car for sure, but we like it. It is a all time great classic supercar (probably classified as a hypercar), and held the title of the fastest road car ever at one time.
.
Lastly, a special mention also to:
2022 McLaren 765LT MSO 001
Featured in the pursuit of speed class. Like most owners, the owner of this car is a passionate car guy, and he went to great lengths to have the car tailored to his exact specification working closely with McLaren to produce this car MSO 001. Wonderful stuff.
.
1960 Chrysler 300F
Featured in the fins and chrome and class. There is something about American cars that grab me and suck me in. Maybe it’s the movies, maybe it’s how different they look, possibly all the chrome bling, whatever it is, the classic American cars of the 50s to 70s really capture my attention. I loved this Chrysler 300F, it is beautiful.
So there you have our personal top 10 cars from the London Concours 2022. There were many more great cars on show, and I highly recommend you get yourself to the show in 2023, for me this car show is a not to be missed show.
