How To Experience The Ultimate Heveningham Concours 2025: Stunning Cars & Community Spirit
Thousands of guests descended on the immaculate lawns of Heveningham Hall this summer for what’s fast becoming a jewel in the crown of the UK’s motoring calendar – the Heveningham Concours. With a rare blend of historic cars, classic aircraft, and strong community values, this event proves that style and substance can go hand in hand.
Held alongside the Heveningham Hall Country Fair, this Suffolk-based gathering offers more than just glossy paintwork and revving engines. It’s a celebration of engineering excellence and local generosity – where V12s share the spotlight with village stalls. At its heart lies the Heveningham Concours, showcasing the best of both motoring and community spirit.
A Judging Panel of Legends

This year’s lineup didn’t disappoint. From 1930s Bugattis to hyper-modern Porsches, every vehicle told a story. The panel was just as star-studded, featuring:
- Peter Stevens, the man behind the McLaren F1
- Marino Franchitti, acclaimed racer and motoring expert
- Ian Callum, design maestro behind numerous Jaguars and Aston Martins
- David Gandy, Vic Norman, and Sarah Hanna, all lending their own discerning eyes
Each judge brought a mix of technical skill and aesthetic appreciation. They evaluated entries for authenticity, originality, condition, and historic relevance, setting high standards at the Heveningham Concours.

High-Flying Moments

Heveningham Concours isn’t just about what’s on the ground. The skies above Suffolk also played host to vintage aviation excellence, further enhancing the event’s allure.
The Hanna Aviation Trophy went to the 1939 Gloster Gladiator, while the runner-up was the 1941 De Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide, a twin-engine airliner that looked every bit the part in the summer sunshine.
Horsepower Hill and Headliners

The popular Horsepower Hill run added some adrenaline to the event as James Nichols returned to form, clocking 117mph on Heveningham’s grand drive. The energy on the ground was a testament to the excitement of the Heveningham Concours.
Meanwhile, a few world debuts kept eyes peeled and smartphones raised. Among them:
- The Callum Design x Wood & Pickett Mini, developed with David Gandy
- The Picasso OMT 450C, a flat-track motorcycle entirely made from carbon fibre – with a roadgoing version coming soon
Driving Change Through Charity

What makes the Heveningham Concours stand out is its deep commitment to local impact. Every entry, every ticket, and every donation goes towards improving lives in the Suffolk community.
Over the years, the event has raised significant funds for a range of local initiatives – from healthcare to education. Notably, it supports an Intelligent Mobility Scholarship at the Royal College of Art, nurturing the next generation of automotive designers.
Chairman Lois Hunt summed it up perfectly:
“It’s not just about what’s on display. It’s about what we give back through the Heveningham Concours.”
More Than a Show – A Statement

Blending timeless design, cutting-edge performance and real social impact, Heveningham Concours is fast becoming a must-attend event for collectors, designers, and classic car enthusiasts alike. It’s not just an event – it’s a movement.
Next year’s edition promises to be even bigger, with organisers already teasing rare reveals, fresh features, and deeper community partnerships, further proving the significance of the Heveningham Concours.
