How To Experience The Unforgettable Alfa Romeo Legacy At Goodwood Revival

The Goodwood Revival is set to celebrate Alfa Romeo’s rich motorsport heritage, marking a century since the marque’s victory in the first-ever Manufacturer’s World Championship. Expect a thrilling display of historic Grand Prix, sports, touring, and prototype cars – each a testament to Alfa Romeo’s dominance on the track.
A Century of Motorsport Excellence

Taking place across the Revival weekend, the celebration will bring together legendary machines from 1925 to 1975. The lineup includes icons like the Alfa Romeo 158 ‘Alfetta’, the first Formula 1 Championship-winning car, alongside the Tipo 308C, TZ2, and Tipo 33 prototypes. These cars earned their stripes at legendary races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Mille Miglia, and Targa Florio.
This year also marks 50 years since the brand’s victory in the 1975 World Sportscar Championship – another milestone that will be honoured at the event.
Remembering the Legends

No celebration of Alfa Romeo would be complete without a nod to the drivers who made history. The Revival will pay tribute to motorsport greats such as:
- Antonio Ascari – Four-time Grand Prix winner
- Giuseppe Farina – The first-ever Formula 1 World Champion
- Juan Manuel Fangio – Five-time World Champion
- Tazio Nuvolari – The brand’s most celebrated pre-war driver
These legends shaped the golden era of racing, and their spirit will be alive at Goodwood.
More Historic Highlights

Earlier in the year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed will also mark the centenary of the Manufacturer’s World Championship. The Prologue class – part of the F1 75 celebrations – will feature pre-World Championship Alfa Romeos, offering a rare glimpse into the brand’s earliest race cars.
Additionally, the Goodwood Revival will also feature:
- A VW Type 2 Split Screen parade
- The debut of an all-sustainable fuel race list
