We are delighted to announce another competition for you, this time we have 3 pairs of tickets to give away to three lucky readers. The Silverstone Classic is one if not the UKs premier classic motorsport event. The 2021 Silverstone Classic will take place from 30 July-1 August 2021 at Silverstone race track.
The Classic at Silverstone is an epic festival weekend for the whole family. It’s got historic motorsport at its heart and entertainment for all ages.
Now in its 30th year (yep hard to believe), the Silverstone Classic is a spectacular motorsport event, a great family day out, a must attend event for any motorsport fan or petrolhead. Bringing together an international celebration of the very best dealers, manufacturers, car clubs and products, there’s a free funfair and once the racing stops music into the night, it’s the perfect day out for all.
So how do you win a pair of tickets to this great event? Well firstly, I strongly advise that you follow us on any social media channel that you use (links at the bottom of this post and at the top right of the page), so that you do not miss out on our future competitions and mycarheaven news. This competition has multiple ways for you to win, so enter as many times as you like and get your friends to enter to increase your odds of winning. We have three pairs of tickets to award, so we will be awarding one pair of tickets on Instagram (watch out for our competition post), one pair of tickets on our Facebook page (watch out for our competition post), and you can enter here (see below). If you are following us on social media, please like our post/s or give us a shout out to your friends, all very much appreciated.

I went to the Silverstone classic day in 2008. We had a great day the racing and weather were fantastic. I have never been to a race day before and it was a real frill. I have now gone back to my first car love The classic Mini. I have a 1998 Racing green cooper, my first car was a Y reg mayfair. I would love to take my cooper (Pickle) to the Saturday Mini Cooper celebration! With it being my Husbands birthday on that day too!!

Both my wife and I would love to attend this event with yourselves and possibly see some truly exciting machinery that I’m sure will be on display. Ferrari 250 GTO, Ford GT40 and Jaguar XJ220 but to name three. Fingers crossed we win but awesome competion guys, well done.

My 3 cars would be Ferrari 312T, a Van Diemen RF82 and ‘Baby Bertha’ Vauxhall. Would love to attend the event and show my son some historic motorsport at an iconic venue.
Honestly I’m not the best with older cars but my other half would love this prize!
I’d assume he’d like to see some Ferraris, Astons and McLarens
Id love to see… 1. Robb Gravett’s 1990 RS500 if it’s there this year, the car that started it all, the most important car in all of motorsport for me.
2. James Hunts 1976 McLaren M23 because you just don’t get any cooler than James Hunt!
3. A Gulf Racing Porsche 917k, because you just DON’T get an cooler than a Gulf liveried Porsche 917k!
And I’d love to attend the Silverstone Classic because I can relive my youth, experience the sights and sounds that came before me and most importantly hear, smell and feel the power that racing cars of the past have over any modern day race car!

It’s the best motorsport family event on the calendar. So much to see and do and my daughters (6&9) love going.
My choice of cars would be, 1…Auto Union Type C 2…..Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, and number 3…A 1964 Ford Falcon Race car. All the cars sound amazing, the Type C blasting around the track with its double rear wheels, the Ferrari is one of the best sounds out there, and the site of the massive Ford Falcon sliding all over the track next to the likes of Mk1 cortinas and dwarfing mini’s is amazing
I haven’t been to the silverstone classics for a number of years now the last time we were there we got to meet John Watson plus a few others great atmosphere and the sound of the 70/80s f1’s amazing
