Our Top 10 Cars from the 2017 Concours of Elegance
What a great event the 2017 Concours of Elegance was AGAIN. This year held at Hampton Court Palace and with 100s of beautiful cars, classic cars, a few supercars, hypercars and racing cars, it really was My Car Heaven.
As hard (almost impossible) as it is, we’ve narrowed those cars down to our top 10 from the event. No doubt we’ll have missed a few cars that you like, and if you attended let us know what cars really did capture your attention.
All our photos can be seen on our Facebook album, but you can get real-time photos when we are at events like this by following us on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook.
So here are our top 10 cars from the 2017 Concours of Elegance, in our order of favourite first:
.1958 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster
Love the shape, the colour and of course it’s super cool.
.
1957 Ferrari 250 GT LWB Tour de France
Love the long lines and fins at the back. This is one stylish motor, oh and it’s a Ferrari which helps.
.
2016 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta
What’s not to love? Beautiful, rare, fast, high-tech. Just look at it.
.
1967 Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
What do you think? Very cool or what. We’ve all watched the movie right.
1911 Renault
Beautiful in every way. Just check it out in all its splendour. It’s very very cool in our opinion.
1912 Rolls-Royce Phaeton Taj Mahal by Barker (chassis 2154) for the Maharajah of Nabha
This car won the Concours of Elegance award for best car, and rightly so in our opinion. Just glorious. As just reward for winning the Concours, this car will be on show now at all the future Concours of Elegance events.
.
Maserati Iniezione
Never seen one before. Looks lovely. The green looks cool as well. Super cool with a twist of sophistication.
.
1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Corto Brandone Cabriolet
Beautiful. This car they believe was the actual winner of the 1932 Le Mans 24 Hour. How cool is that?
Aston Martin DB3
In blue. Just look at it. Stunning. What a beautiful Classic Car.
.
Aston Martin Vantage
Most beautiful modern Aston I’ve ever seen. What do you think?
So there you have it. Yes I know I’ve missed our 100s of other options, but that’s what makes talking all things cars great, we all have a difference of opinion. If you went to this epic classic car show let us know what stood out for you. More Concours of Elegance related posts here.
