Over 200 competitors will compete in the revival event, which caters for pre-1967 cars, on a track that is almost double the length of the course used in original sprint events of the 1950s and 1960s – the organisers believe it to be one of the most challenging and unique in the country. Here’s a little preview video which gives you a flavour of what it is all about…
As well as the competition itself, an expected 10,000 spectators can look forward to a ‘social’ Concours d’Elegance, vintage funfair and auction.
To win yourself a pair of complimentary tickets to this event just tell us which pre-1967 car you’d love to drive up the hill and why. We will draw our winners at random a few weeks before the event. Good luck. Check out our other competitions here.
You are most welcome Rob. We cannot attend, so any review post event would be most welcome.
Hope you have a cracking time.

Great news on the tickets win! Looking forward to next weekend already
– I would choose to drive a Mk1 Lotus Cortina – my pride and joy as a teenager and so wish I had kept it nearly 30 years later!
Entering on behalf of my dear old Dad ( Chris Jones) and he says many years ago , approx 1960 when he visited Chateau Impney he saw a Jaguar 3.8 come racing up the drive, miss the corner and take out a good strip of nicely manicured Privet hedge. He’s sure he could do a better job of driving a Jaguar 3.8 himself up the hill if given a chance!
The car I would like to drive up the hill, is the humble Mini. Simply because I never achieved this in period despite competing at the time and living only 14 miles from the venue. Attending brings back many happy memories.
