A visit the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum
No I have not YET visited this Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum. It’s another one for the bucket list. With the 2016 the centenary of his Ferruccio Lamborghini’s birth it’s got to be done. I’m going to add this to my tour of Italy, taking in Modena, Ferrari, Pagani, Lamborghini, etc.
Here’s a very cool short video I found to wet your appetite. No doubt the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum looks like an exciting journey through the most representative objects that have marked the life of the brilliant founder of the Bolognese brand. In the Museum you can admire all the products of the Lamborghini industries: tractors, burners, the accurate reconstruction of the Founder’s office and of course the legendary cars marked by the ‘Charging Bull’ produced during his life.
The visitor will have the chance to admire the mythical Miura SV that personally belonged to Mr Ferruccio and the futuristic Countach.
The Museum also presents many prototypes that often anticipated real production vehicles: they are unique objects in the world. Dimensions of the new Museum further allow to exhibit the first produced helicopter and the exceptional offshore, both carrying a Lamborghini engine. These special vehicles and many other objects belonged to Ferruccio together with original photos and videos are on display in this futuristic Museum. Situated in the heart of the Motor Valley, at the hub of Ferruccio’s beloved Emilia, the Museum offers visitors of all ages the possibility to see in detail some special treasures that wrote the history of Italian automotive innovation and design.
A lively, dynamic and suggestive place, full of energy and ready to welcome enthusiasts, tourists and all those who seek a special setting for events, conventions and gala dinners.
I cannot wait to visit. If you already have I’d love to hear about it, and any tips you have.
