    Hi Stewart,
Glad to hear you had a great time. Your story about the state of the Triumph made me chuckle.

That’s the great thing about the Classic Motor Show, there are all kinds of people and cars, but we all have the same passion, cars.

    All the best.

Competition for Autosport International tickets going up on the site this weekend.

  • Stewart Longhurst says:

    Thanks for the tickets.

I arrived in the car park ahead of a Triumph 2000 that seemed to be running well but was aesthetically challenged in the paint department. So I gave the owner the second ticket (friend couldn’t make it) and suggested he spend the money he’d saved on the car! He was most grateful.

I was really pleased to see a gorgeous Fiat Dino 2000 Coupe at the show and to hear the owner’s story. With the arrival of kids his wife told him to sell his Austin Healey and get a 4 seat classic. He went ahead and bought the Fiat – driving it home from Portugal – then didn’t quite get round to selling the Healey!

Other highlights for me were the S1 Esprits, DeLoreans and a Sporting Bears ride in a Maserati 3200. Giugiaro fan do you think?

    Super day – thanks again.

No worries Tim. Spread the word about the website. Lots more competitions in 2016. All the best.

I am a massive ford and motorsport fan so it was great to see the AVO club stand with their lovely mk1 escorts but i have fallen in love with Lotus Sunbeams
