Win a pair of tickets to the Donington Historic Festival 2015
We love the Donington Historic Festival. The atmosphere is always great, you can get right up close to the cars and drivers (not like some other classic motorsport events), and the racing is always fun to watch.
This year this wonderful event will take place on 2nd, 3rd and 4th May 2015. As well as watching many automotive icons fight it out on track, spectators can wander round the race paddocks, enjoying free access and getting up close to the cars and stars. Really close. It’s an awesome event as you can read in our previous years postcards here.
Plus there’s always plenty of off-track attractions and live action – including legendary Group B rally cars, historic karts, autojumble and memorabilia stalls, cafés, bars and food outlets – and extensive club displays of classic cars.
Now in its fourth year and with an exciting three-day format you can expect more of the same for 2015, as well as plenty of new attractions, and the organisers are busy putting together another packed programme. Once again they are aiming to keep ticket prices well below the usual cost of top-quality historic motor sport weekends, as the organisers want to continue to offer all the thrills of the top, established events, but at a family friendly price – and at arguably the best spectator circuit in the country.
If you’d like to win a pair of tickets to this wonderful event, simply tell us why in the comments section below and like us on Facebook or you can subscribe to our newsletter to be kept up to date of all our further competitions and news as it happens. We’ll announce lucky winners in early April. Watch this space.
Good luck.
I work for a company that repairs classic car instruments and I only get to see these parts of the vehicles when they look a little worse for wear and in need of a lot of TLC. I speak to so many customers who are restoring cars for shows and races but it is only at places like Donington where I get to see the finished result. I love to see the cars being displayed & raced and to see such a mix and variety in one place it’s a fabulous way to spend a weekend.
Yes please. I’ve never been to Donnington either so would be great 🙂
A man that thinks like me, I totally agree. Bring on May.
It looks like such a great event and fantastic to see up close cars from the past and in their natural racing environment. It would be hard to think of anywhere better to spend the May bank holiday week-end.
I’d love to win these, never been to Donington before and arriving in the Lotus Europa JPS would be the icing on the cake for what looks to be a fantastic weekend.
