Here is an interesting video that we found from Jay Leno’s Garage videos. Here Jay highlights that phase one of the restoration is done on his 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe, and it’s finally on the road! Despite its reputation as being the McLaren F1 of its day, Jay was skeptical… until he found this 1955 model languishing in a trailer in the desert. No doubt this is a beautiful car, but are Mercedes-Benz 300SLs worth £600,000, I’m not convinced! What do you think?
