Thanks to Ben Bexson – your photos are really good and look very professional. I must say the water displays and hovercraft races were something I had not seen before and the air displays are always exciting. Glad to have had the opportunity to attend this wonderful event.
Cheers Ben.
A very informative write up from your day. Glad to hear you had a wonderful time. Pictures are cool.
First of all I would like to thank my car heaven for the tickets!
So I entered the competition via twitter and never winning anything didn’t expect to hear anything.
To my surprise I did and the excitement began to build.
On the day my friend and I set off from Derbyshire for the venue which had surprisingly little traffic for such an event.
On arrival we parked in the field near the track and although at that point we couldn’t see any of the cars but from the sound we were in for a treat.
We crossed the bridge over the track as a Corvette shot by below us into the stall area.
In this area there were multiple car dealerships, a mini Land Rover experience in which they drove us over a few obstacles for a quid (for charity).
There were also a couple of Landrover Tuners including Twisted and Icon.
We took a mooch past the helicoptor parking area towards the start line and the parking area for some stunning machinery.
There were race/prestige cars from many different manufacturers including Porsche, Ferrari, Bentley, Bugatti, Masarati to name but a few.
There were also air and water displays and these were amazing also.
So in summary I would say that it is a fantastic day out and I will be returning next year.

My husband is absolutely delighted and I have definitely earned myself some serious brownie points. Fingers crossed for sunshine or at least dry weather, but rain or shine we definitely intend to enjoy ourselves. Will get back to you with our highlights after the event.
