It’s cool you want to take your Grandad, I’m sure it would bring back a lot of memories for him.
Competition to finish in a few days, so you’ll know shortly if you’ve won a ticket or pair of tickets.
Keep an eye out for our other complimentary tickets competitions, including (but not limited to) Silverstone
Classic, Bromley Pageant, Chomendeley Pageant of Power & Classic Motor Show.
Lastly I noticed that your into your photography. If you’d like to email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) any photos of events you attend or cars you shoot, we’d love to see those photos as I’m sure our readers would. Maybe with your permission we could post a few and promote your work here on our site.
I am going as media to this event but I would love to take my Grandad, he worked at jaguar all his life whilst racing a Mini in the 70’s around places such as Mallory Park and Donington! He raced against people like Gerry Taylor and Terry McNally both in Anglias. I would love to take him on this weekend!
John, it’s a cracking event. First one was held last year, so we expect this year to be bigger and better.
It’s great how close you can get to the cars and drivers. Fingers crossed you’ll bag yourself a pair of complimentary tickets courtesy of MyCarHeaven.com. You’ll hear before the end of the week.
More information on the event here.
Paul, Donington is a great event. You can get really close to the drivers and race cars. Having attended last year with my young son, we loved it and will be attending again this year. We are really excited about it.
I’ll be announcing winners of our competition on Friday this week, so fingers crossed.
I have attended numerous festivals and regularly attend F1 & GP meetings. I have heard that the Donnington Festival is the best of the historic events and really keen to get a closer look at the cars and garages.
