It was wonderful to read that MyCarHeaven was recently awarded “Blog of the year 2011” by Motoringspy.co.uk. All the team here are delighted that our work has been recognised. We will continue to publish what we hope are interesting and informative articles and look forward to interacting more and more with you our readers in 2012 and beyond.

Concept car of the year 2011: Jaguar C-X16.
Most ambitious plan of the year 2011: 5 new Lotus Supercars by 2018. Shown below is the Lotus Esprit concept car.
Maddest car of the year 2011: Morgan 3 Wheeler (below). A friend of ours took a test drive in one at the 2011 Silverstone Classic and said it was nuts and he now has the Morgan bug. Good on you Morgan.
Fantasy car of the year 2011: 3rd place: Lamborghini Aventador, joint winner: McLaren MP4-12C (below) and Ferrari 458 Spider.
Why are we waiting car of the year 2011: Alfa Romeo 4C
We do not necessarily agree with all the choices, but that’s what’s great about people, we all have a difference of opinion. We would have put the Lotus Esprit as best concept car of 2011, as nice as the Jaguar looks. For fantasy car of 2011 I would have gone for Ferrari 458 Italia Spider. Finally our why are we waiting car of the year would be the absolutely beautiful looking hypercar, the Shelby Ultimate Aero II (mega car). What do you think?
