Onboard a Formula Jaguar racing car, with PalmerSports.
Back in May 2009 I had a great experience when I took part in a day with PalmerSport. During the day I had the chance to seven race prepared cars including: Jaguar XKR, Caterham 7 Superlight, Renault Clio Cup Racer, Land Rover Defender, Palmer Jaguar JP1, Porsche 911 JP3 and Formula Jaguar.
I thought you might be interested in this onboard video footage of my drive in the last car of the day, the Formula Jaguar. This car is the closest thing to a Formula 1 car I’ve ever driven, with a 0-60 mph of 3.1 seconds and top speed of 170 mph. It was a great experience, one I cannot wait to do again sometime soon.
No comments on the driving, I’m certainly no Jenson Button.
