Panther ProgettoUno
Panther ProgettoUno, the first supercar of the Modena-based coachbuilder. After unveiling the project for the first time in January 2018 and showing the first images on the road the following summer, ARES Design presented the Panther ProgettoUno to the world in its final form at the 2019 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, a prestigious event dedicated to vintage cars and prototypes held every year in Cernobbio, on the shores of Lake Como, in Italy.
Taking inspiration for its evocative design from the Pantera, the iconic supercar born in the 70s in Modena, the Panther ProgettoUno is the first model of ARES Design’s Legends Reborn program
Driven by a V10 aspirated engine with a maximum output of 650bhp, the Panther ProgettoUno sports a complete, handcrafted carbon fibre body, shaped to resemble that of the iconic original, while ensuring the best aerodynamic performance, thanks to CFD technology. The Panther ProgettoUno is capable of more than 325km/h goes from 0 to 100km/h in 3.1 seconds, the ARES Design’s team mission was to create a true “driver’s car”.
The coachbuilder designed and crafted a stainless-steel exhaust system, giving the Panther ProgettoUno its distinctive sound. The upgraded lightning fast throttle response, the seven-speed, double-clutch transmission and the active suspensions have also been carefully enhanced, creating more precise visceral feedback and an unforgettable driving experience.
The interior, fully customised and based on the owner’s design requests, features handcrafted interior panels with bespoke Nappa and Connolly leathers and Alcantara featuring throughout
