All-new, next-generation high-performance hybrid supercar – The McLaren Artura

The Artura is McLaren’s first-ever series-production High-Performance Hybrid (HPH) supercar and the first model to be built on McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA), which has been optimised for HPH powertrains and built in-house at the McLaren Composites Technology Centre (MCTC) in Sheffield.

Here are some key facts and figures…

  • Lightweight body features superformed aluminium and carbon fibre
  • Power-to-weight ratio of 488PS per tonne
  • Artura is lightest car in its class with kerb weight (DIN) of just 1,498kg
  • Powertrain features all-new twin-turbocharged 3.0litre V6 petrol engine with an E-motor and battery pack, with a  combined output of 680PS (671bhp) and 720Nm (530lb ft)
  • 585PS (577bhp) and 585Nm from the V6 alone
  • 95PS E-motor delivers instant torque of up to 225Nm. Accelerating: 0-100km/h in 3.0 seconds; 0-200km/h in 8.3 seconds; and 0-300km/h in 21.5 seconds
  • The most fuel-efficient McLaren ever produced (50+mpg, 129g/km CO2 in combined EU WLTP); 7.4kWh battery supports 30km electric-only range
  • Five-year vehicle warranty; six-year battery warranty and 10-year body warranty
  • New lightweight eight-speed transmission integrates McLaren’s first electronic-differential
  • New rear suspension concept, uprated electro-hydraulic steering and Proactive Damping Control
  • Completely new interior with all key controls accessible with hands on the wheel
  • New 8” HD touchscreen infotainment system 
  • Electrical architecture enables Over-The-Air (OTA) updates, integrated stolen vehicle tracking (available in certain markets) and future upgrades
  • Choice of four specifications with UK pricing from £185,500
