Three classic Aston Martins to be sold in first Silverstone auctions of 2021

1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk2 Vantage

The first sale of 2021 for Silverstone Auctions is The Race Retro Live Online Auction, which takes place on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th March.

The auction catalogue already lists some magnificent cars, including the three Aston Martins shown here. The first is an rare left-hand drive 1963 Aston Martin DB4 Series 5, which is one of just 50 DB4 Series 5 saloons built prior to the arrival of the DB5. It still has its original engine and gearbox and is finished in the original specified colours of Aegean Blue over White Gold.

The 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mk2 Vantage is finished in British Racing Green and is one of just 71 that had the Vantage engine from new, half of those were right-hand drive saloons and with factory fitted manual gearbox.

The third Aston Martin is a 1969 DB6 Mk2 which has undergone attention from Aston Martin Works. The history file details the work carried out, including a full interior retrim. This too is a rare right-hand drive model with the manual gearbox.
