Our postcard from the 2019 Concours of Elegance
It’s taken a while to get this post up, but life is busier than ever. Suffice to say that the 2019 Concours of Elegance was as wonderful as ever and we’re really looking forward to attending the 2020 event. Considering everything that’s happened the last few months it will be nice to be out of the house.
We started off by checking out Harrys Garage collection which was my car heaven this year, featuring many of the cars ‘d have in a dream garage. Obviously I’d need a big garage and a massive load of cash to afford 4 of the 6 cars. Well done Harry beautiful collection. My favourites in order:
1. Pagani Zonda
It has to right up there as one of the most iconic, desirable and arresting hypercars ever made to date.
It’s rare, it does 200mph, it’s a Bugatti, what’s not to love. Same the prices have gone stratospheric, I’d love one.
It’s the Lamborghini that I want most. It’s a car I had up on the wall as a boy, like many other my age. An icon.
Another poster on my wall as a kid. I was also an avid fan of Miami Vice,
cliché as much as it is. Makes a great noise as well.
Not one for me, but each to their own.
6. Porsche 911 (964) 3.8 RS
Iconic to many. Not one for me, but cool none the less.
