Jaguar XK

For Jaguar enthusiasts, the pairing of the letters ‘X’ and ‘K’ has long promised excitement and speed. As all the other previous sports cars from Jaguar during past 50 years, the Jaguar XK pushed sports motoring boundaries.

This cars was at its time the most advanced car from Jaguar ever and we also can say that it is among the most beautiful cars.

The car is faster, better equipped and lighter than the old version. It also has a performance, safety, braking, dynamics and economy improvements. The new XK combines luxury, comfort and style of grand tourer with the driving passion, dynamic of a true sports car. Driving this car is a joy and it has everything you could expect from such a car.

This is 2+2 coupe, but sitting on the rear sets is suitable for kids only. It has a lightweight aluminium construction which makes it a strong and stiff car. Some of its new comfort features are: keyless entry, intuitive controls, push button starter, luxury and quality cabin. There is a new 4,2l V8 engine with 300bhp with a new 6 speed automat with paddles under steering wheel, so you can manually change gears.

The car can get from zero to 60mph in just 5,9 sec. The top speed is electronically limited to 155mph. Other features include: Alpine Dolby surround swystem, Sirrius satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless mobile technology. You can have Jaguar XK as a convertible model too. The stronger version is a supercharged XKR.

Like the Xk model, the new XKR makes use of practical and modern technology in a light and stiff body. Upgraded 420bhp engine deliver high performance and makes this car an impressive GT of its class.

The XK was launched in 2007 and expired in 2014. The model was designed by Ian Callum, who was in part inspired by the E-Type.
