Making Your Classic Car Turn Heads

No matter if you own a Porsche or a VW, you love your car, and want other people to notice it. A classic car can get lost in the crowd, unless you make the specific effort to allow it to stand out. There are plenty of ways to improve the appearance of a vehicle, but how do you make people turn their heads and take photos of your wheels? If you haven’t figured it out yet, below you will find a few tips to impress almost everyone you pass on the road.

Decals

Just like with motorbikes, unique decals can turn heads. Make sure that you don’t opt for a cheap copy, and try to get the original classic design if you can. From stickers that tell people about the history of the car, the make, or lets them know that you own a special edition model to funny make specific ones, there are several options. The good news is that you don’t even have to invest a lot of money in sprucing up your car.

Alloys

Every classic car deserves custom wheels. You can get aftermarket alloy wheels that will match the style and age of your car, and certainly improve how it looks. You will have to decide whether or not to buy refurbished alloy wheels and ensure that they are professionally treated, so you don’t have to deal with dents and scratches that simply happen when you get too close to the curb.

Custom Grille

Classic cars can look more assertive and confident with grille. While these are definitely modern features, you will still need to consider adding them to give your classic sports car or truck a modern and unique look. The best option is to replace your grille and make it match your bodywork accent. You can find a few examples of custom Porsche models for inspiration online, or talk to a car body specialist with relevant experience.  Make sure that the upgrade doesn’t compromise the stability and integrity of the bodywork.

Number Plates

To get your car noticed, you might also want to invest in custom number plates. The good news is that you don’t have to pay the high price by going to a dealer; you can now buy private plates online and get a better selection, search for the numbers and letters you want to include, and find the one that truly represents your personality and your car’s.

Luxury Interior

To add value to your car and make it unique, you might also want to upgrade the interior of your classic vehicle. Add loads of leather, improve the comfort level by changing the seats, and – of course – upgrade your entertainment system and dashboard technology. This will help you feel more supported while driving and draw the attention of people passing by when parked down.

If you want people to notice your classic car, keeping the bodywork shiny is not enough. Consider some of these upgrades, and you will surely turn heads.
