Volkswagen I.D. R smashes electric car record at Goodwood Festival of Speed 2018

The new Volkswagen I.D. R Pikes Peak put up a staggering 43.05 seconds, a new electric car hill climb record, in the practice shootout at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2018.  Watch it here.  Epic stuff.  “Balls of Steel”.
