London Concours 2018. A walk around the 1959 Triumph Italia 2000
Here we have a video from the London Concours 2018. Here we tale a walk around the beautiful and rare 1959 Triumph Italia 2000.
Based on the Triumph TR3, the Italia 2000 Coupe was penned by Italian designer, Giovanni Michelotti and crafted into metal with the help of Alfredo Vignale. With an initial aim of building 1000 examples, it’s thought that only 329 of these hand-crafted bodies ever found their way onto a TR3 chassis, and even less survive today. Look out for the small badge near the rear bonnet catch, identifying this car’s place of production.
