Replacement Number Plates, Show Plates or just fun Car Number Plates
I was recently contacted by Number 1 Plates, this UK based company manufacture and supply replacement number plates. Here is a review of my purchase experience and the quality of the plates.
First, I had to visit the website and go to the online plate builder, which was a very simple to use tool. However, before you start to build a number plate make sure you know the size and shape of your number plate that is right for your car. Go and measure the existing plate that you are looking to replace, simple. Most new cars (not classic cars) are standard size (522mm wide by 112mm high). The plate builder is packed with lots of options and features (it even has some model specific plates, such as Range Rover Vogue, Mini Cooper and many more), and I’m told that they are constantly upgrading the hardware and software to give you the best possible finished products.
Okay, so what did we go for…
First we put together a plate for a new Fiat 500, and tried to give it a cool, old look, as befits the car. We chose the standard car plate in acrylic, hi line text, no badge, red border, and red slogan (MyCarHeaven.com). See below…
I am pretty happy with it. I think it is very cool. What do you think? The cost for this is £30.98 + postage (bargain).
Then we started playing with the site, to see the array of options. Next up we just went for Pagani (as a show plate). This time the options were standard car plate in aluminium, carbon text, no badge, red border, and red slogan (MyCarHeaven.com), and added 6 sticky pads. See below…
Cool hey! What do you think? The cost for this is £36.97 + postage (bargain).
Then we started playing with the site. Here are lots of other variations…
For the Ferrari 488 owner we did this one (see below). I am pretty happy with it. I think it is very cool. What do you think? This time the options were a standard car plate in acrylic, 3D gel text , GB badge, black border, and black slogan (MyCarHeaven.com), and added 6 sticky pads. The cost for this is £31.97 + postage (bargain).
I ordered a few samples of personalised plates. They arrive within 48 hours (fast enough for me). They were securely packaged and looked the business. I’m one happy customer and I can certainly recommend as good value, high quality and great service. So if you’re looking for replacement number plates, or want to get yourself some show plates, the MyCarHeaven team give Number 1 Plates a 10 out of 10.
Postage varies from £2.95 to £19.95 depending on where they are shipping the plates to.
