The 2016 Goodwood Festival of Speed Sculpture (video)
Gerry Judah was first commissioned to produce a Festival of Speed central feature in 1997, when Ferrari took the role of central feature marque. Over the years, it has developed into one of the most eye-catching and iconic aspects of the event. At its heart, it is a celebration of automotive design, fuelled by motoring heritage and Judah’s creativity.
2016 celebrated the centenary of BMW. With beautiful form, the central feature of this years Festival of Speed displayed 3 cars that showcase BMWs heritage, the Mille Miglia roadster, the 1999 Le Mans Winning BMW V12 LMR, and the Brabham BMW BT52 F1 Car. All fabricated and installed by Littlehampton Welding.
