What do you look for when you’re thinking about purchasing a new car? How much it costs to run? Is there enough room for the kids? Can I fit the golf clubs in the boot easily? These are reasonable questions which a lot of us would be likely to consider at some point. How about, does it reach 60 mph in less than 3 seconds or, does it have an intercom system built in?
For the people to whom money is no object, a car can be a display of status. A symbol of what they have achieved and these symbols can cost millions of pounds. Take the Aston Martin One-77 for instance. At a cool £1.2 million it certainly doesn’t come cheap, but Aston Martin only made 77 of these beautiful cars so it doesn’t come much more exclusive than that!
However, if that falls towards the lower end of your budget, there’s always the Maybach Exelero. Hitting 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds and with a top speed of 218 mph, he Exelero is the ultimate in luxury cars, and it will set you back just £3.1 million. Now that’s what I call a bargain!
