UK Car event of 2011
As the MyCarHeaven team have visited many of the 2011 UK car events, and we have offered free tickets to many of you, we thought we would take a minute to reflect on which of these car events we enjoyed the most and why.
Between us the 2011 car events that the team attended were:
- Race Retro
- Donington Historic Festival
- Goodwood Festival of Speed
- Cholmondeley Pageant of Power
- Silverstone Classic
- Chelsea Auto legends
- Goodwood Revival
- 2011 Classic Motor Show at the NEC
If you want to read our full reviews on these events click here.
For me the Silverstone Classic is best because it has a large variety of things to do (racing, car clubs, shopping, good food and drink, etc.), is not too overcrowed and is not too expensive.
Elle loves the Festival of Speed, so she can spend hours dreaming over the supercars on display, plus she gets to see some Formula 1 action right up close.
Ed loves the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Revival, as he is really into his historic racing.
So there you have it, three different people with three slightly different opinions. Well I never.
If you are a will travelled car event attendee, please let us know what you think is the UK best car event and why. Remember to keep visiting the site, or sign up for our RSS feed and watch out in 2012 as we hope to offer you free tickets to some of these events.
