Saab Phoenix concept car. What a beautiful car!

Well I never thought it would happen, but yes, I have a Saab car on the site.  Design by the recent design director Jason Castriota, Saab Phoenix concept is the car representing Saab at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.

Wow, I don’t know about you, but I think this is a pretty spectacular looking car, and I would certainly want to know more about it, IF it ever gets made.

If Saab actually make this I will have new-found respect, for what is I think is fair to say quite a boring company historically.

We like the new Saab Phoenix concept design and with the new concept to the side spoiler or side wing makes it look exceptional. The hatchback concept is a 2+2 seater car with aerodynamic design principle.

The Saab Phoenix is also a hybrid powered by a 200hp 1.6-liter turbocharged and a 36 hp electric motor powered by a small battery pack by regenerative braking. The end result is a hybrid all-wheel drive capability that delivers great fuel economy of 56.5mpg.

Well, what do you think?  Should Saab build the Phoenix?
