We are delighted to announce another competition for you, this time we have 2 pairs of tickets to give away to lucky readers/ social followers. The Silverstone Classic is one if not the UKs premier classic motorsport event. The 2022 Silverstone Classic will take place from Friday 26th August to Sunday 28th August at the Silverstone race track. We have secured 2 pairs of tickets for Friday 26 August.
The Classic at Silverstone is an epic festival weekend for the whole family. It’s got historic motorsport at its heart and entertainment for all ages.
Now in its 31st, the Silverstone Classic is a spectacular motorsport event, a great family day out, a must attend event for any motorsport fan or petrolhead. Bringing together an international celebration of the very best dealers, manufacturers, car clubs and products, there’s a free funfair and once the racing stops music into the night, it’s the perfect day out for all.
So how do you win a pair of tickets to this great event? Well firstly, I strongly advise that you follow us on any social media channel that you use (you can find links at the bottom of this post and at the top right of the page, but we are @mycarheaven), so that you do not miss out on our future competitions and mycarheaven news. This competition has multiple ways for you to win, so enter as many times as you like and get your friends to enter to increase your odds of winning. We have 2 pairs of tickets to award, so we will be awarding one pair of tickets on Instagram (watch out for our competition post), one pair of tickets on here. Leave a comment below. For those like me that had never heard of this car until Donna mentioned it.
In 1973, Vauxhall developed a restyled version of the Firenza, known officially as the High Performance (HP) Firenza, but known colloquially as the “droopsnoot” after its distinct aerodynamic nose.
And a very loud car indeed.

Skyline GT-R R32 is just amazing, I like it since seeing this car at the Goodwood Festival.
McLaren M8D is my favourite for its performance.

My favourite motorsport/racing car would have to be the MkII Ford GT40. The sleek lines paired with the thundering V8 makes it my personal favourite!
Favourite racing car would have to be a Group A Impreza… memories of childhood watching Rally Report on BBC2!
