I would love to go as I’ve been going to motorsport for 31 years now first going to Ingleston near Edinburgh when I was 3 years old and standing in a Scottish forest at 4 years old. As for competing i would compete in anything just for the buzz of competition

  • Cherie Bosley & Glen Mcardle says:

Myself and my fiancé have never been before and it’s our 5 year anniversary so I would like to make it very special for him if we could be lucky enough to win some tickets please. He is a great big BTCC fan and his favourite player is Andrew Jordan. The most motorsport car he would like to drive would be a BTCC car as my partner has been following this last 10 years. 🙂

  • Will Wynn says:

  • Brian Ellis says:

I would live to attend autosport 2018 as I have never remembered to buy tickets as I concentrate on my son’s Birthday on the 3rd of Jan and forget about me. I would have loved to drive Richard Burns subura, that sound.

  • Bryan Evans says:

Looking forward to seeing the 2018 World rally cars at the Autosport International. Normally the teams are busy in Monte Carlo rallying this time of year but a change of rally dates means a rare appearance of the top teams at the show.If I could drive any motorsport related car it would have to be Jim Clarks Championship winning Lotus 25 simply because he is my hero.

  • Ian Chedzey says:

I’d like to see the rally cars new and old. And i would most like to drive a Porsche 956 which has been my favourite car since I saw it debut at Silverstone in 1982

  • Will Wynn says:

    Hi David,

    We love the DB4 GT Zagato (1961), DBR 1 (1959), DB5 (1964), DB3s (1953), DBS (2007), DB6 (1965) and V8 Vantage (1977) in this order.

That almost makes a top 10.

  • David Mead says:

Ever since James Bond drove an Aston Martin I always dreamt of having one. I am retired now and nothing has changed except that then it was “if i won the pools….” and now it’s “If i won the lottery….” So any Aston Martin is my choice!

  • Will Wynn says:

    Hi Stewart,
I agree it’s great to see TVR back. I just think to get the volume of purchasers they need to make the business sustainable and profitable they need to have a car that is either better or cheaper than the competition (Porsche 911, Jaguar F-Type, etc.). Time will tell no doubt.

    Will

  • Stewart Barker says:

I’d love to visit this show as it is regarded one of best motorsport events in the UK, and it would be fantastic to experience a show on this scale of which I have not attended before. The car I would most like to drive is the new TVR Griffith as I have always been a massive fan of the marque; and it was exciting to see the brand new car announced and unveiled at the Goodwood Revival back in September. I think this car would be thrilling to drive as it weighs only 1,250kg and is powered by a 480HP 5.0 V8 (Almost 400HP-per-tonne power-to-weight ratio!) and is capable of astonishing speeds up to 200MPH.

  • Christopher Richards says:

I would love to attend and see up close the the new cars for the new seasons of racing. If I could I would love to drive in the BTCC as i love close racing all the time which the BTCC provides.

  • Paul Davis says:

I’d love to attend Autosport international with my 11 year old to see some of the amazing machines we’ve been watching all year face to face as it were!
If I could drive any motorsport car new or old it would be a group C rally of some sort, favourite would be the Metro 6r4! Great fun!

  • Graham Lomax says:

I would like to attend Autosport International because its the start of a new year and the new seasons cars are on show. Together with cars from years gone
bye, bringing back memories of cars and drivers. I would like to drive a mclaren road car because of the marque’s long history.

  • LAURENCE BUCKNALL says:

I love the chance to get to see both the cars and drivers listening to the interviews and admiring the fantastic cars on display.
I would love the chance to drive Ayrton Sennas Championship winning F1 car what a fantastic thrill to sample that power in a fantastic car

I’d love to take my 9 year old son to the show to see all our favourite racing cars and especially the Ferrari feature and Crofty’s live action arena.

The race car I’d love to drive would be a Maserati 250F – beloved of Fangio and Moss and take it around the Monaco circuit. I imagine it would be scary as hell but what a ride!

  • Douglas McMillan says:

I would love to win because winter is too long. Most motorsport seasons have ended and attending Autosport would not only give me a much needed motorsport fix but it would bring in the new season with a blast! I would love to try the McLaren 720S GT3, I know it’s not ready yet but it even the concept art looks fast. It would be amazing to try it!

  • Alex Vellios says:

I would love to attend the event because of all the amazing cars that will be displayed and of course the WRC 2018 cars!!!

  • Andy M says:

Any day spent in and around performance cars is a very good day in my book and if I could drive any car, it would be a 1970’s Porsche 917K. Purposeful and beautiful in equal measure and capable of enabling me to achieve my dream of driving at 200+mph.

  • Kate Fox says:

I’d love to take my cousin along as he’s just split up with his wife. It’d definitely cheer him up. And as to a car, any one that’s won a Grand Prix really, just to feel what it’s like to sit in one

  • Ioanna Leonti says:

Me and my boyfriend are crazy car enthusiasts. I am currenly in Greece while he is studying in the Netherlands. I thought it would be a great idea to attend autosport as a weekend getaway and of course catch the reveal of the Lambo.

  • Karen hutchinson says:

My partner loves cars and hasn’t been to the show for years. He would like to drive Hamilton’s f1 car just to experience what it’s like. I’d just be happy with a mini !

I’d love the opportunity to drive a Honda NSX or similar on the track, having experienced the baby VTEC (90hp) I’d love to feel what it’s like in a more powerful variant.

  • Tim Sawyer says:

Would love to go to ASI 2018 to see all of the 2018 WRC cars being launched, first time ASI has hosted all the of the new reasons rally cars so that will be a treat to see!

For me id jump at the chance to drive any modern rally car through the woods!
