Traditionalists look away now.  Here is a modified Jensen Interceptor by Bavarez at last years event.  Super cool, and we could not have enough praise for the Bavarez team.  Stand out car from last year.

My favorite classic is the Porsche 550 Spyder. The car that was made more cool by the likes of James Dean owning one.

  • DARREN JOHNSTON says:

HAS TO BE THE JENSON INTERCEPTOR FOR ME! HAND BUILT IN West Bromwich IRONICALLY.

  • lyn burgess says:

My favourite classic car is a Triumph TR6, because it brings back such happy memories of owning one as newly weds, many moons ago.

  • Gary Middleton says:

Hard to say, they certainly do seem to be increasing and some of the best examples can fetch a lot of money. You have to think can they just keep going up and up in value, surely it has to stop somewhere! It’s a great car to set your sights on, and a very good investment too. I hope you are able to buy one in the not too distant future.

  • Will Wynn says:

Yep agree Gary, the Jaguar E-Type is one of the best cars, and certainly most beautiful of all time. I’m saving, and working hard to hopefully be in a position to buy one in the next 3-5 years, assuming prices don’t continue to increase and increase. Do you think they will?

  • Gary Middleton says:

Got to be the E-Type Jag for me. Such a classic look which never dates and great to drive too.

  • Paul Evans says:

The Aston Martin DB5 has great styling, distinctive sound and synonymous with James Bond. The car was nearly double the price of an E-Type Jag when released but in my eyes has double the looks.

  • Karen says:

My favourite classic has to be my boyfriend ….. sorry, my boyfriend’s 1973 Lotus Europa JPS Mid Engine Twincam Special. Such a great car to drive around in.

  • Nick Kirby says:

My favourite classic would be a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO SWB. Stunning looks, fast and a great engine noise.

  • Andy Clegg says:

Although a massive lover off old Astons my favourite classic is a modern one.
I love and own a 1983 Capri 2.8i with the shark grey ricaro interior and 13′ pepper pots.

  • Ian Chatham says:

It’s got to be a 1966 TR4A for me. Always been my dream car, definitely in my “one to buy before I’m too old to enjoy it” list

  • Will Wynn says:

Nice one Stewart, the Fiat Dino Coupe with its Ferrari engine is one very cool and underrated classic car.

  • Stewart Longhurst says:

Fiat Dino Coupe – Giugiaro designed fastback from late 60s/early 70s built to help Ferrari get the Dino engine homologated for racing. Good enough for the mafia boss in The Italian Job!

  • Jennifer Sanderson says:

I would have to say the VW splitscreen campervan, we own one and it’s enjoyable for the whole family. We camp in it, we display it, we go for days out in it and always get stopped by other car enthusiasts for a chat.

  • phill palmer says:

Gotta be an Escort mark 1 Mexico. Had the chance to buy one about 15 years ago but decided against it. Regret it, especially seeing how much they are worth now.

  • John Bakewell says:

My favourite classic is the 1975 MGB GT because my dad had one when we were kids and brings back great memories!!

  • Parv Kitaure says:

Avid Classic Car fan. For me it will be seeing the collection of Ford Capri’s which known as the ‘working man’s coupes’ I’ve annually attended this event and it’s always one to see, especially with the addition of Mike Brewer & Edd China doing Wheeler Dealers Live!

  • Avril Saunders says:

It’s hard to pick a favourite with so many to choose from but I would go for a Porsche 911, sleek and elegant just what I would like to be!

  • Will Wynn says:

Agreed, I have a Mark 1 Austin Mini in the “I want one”, MyCarHeaven dream garage.

  • Will Wynn says:

Agreed. Saw one for sale for £32k at the weekend, 93,000 miles though.

  • Paul Davis says:

Has to be a modern classic for me, the Alfa Romeo SZ. Brutal looks, yet somehow beautiful!!

  • paulie pope says:

i like all the original minis. hope they count as vintage. mind you, i certainly wouldn’t fit in one!

  • Kevin Friend says:

My favorite classic car is the Porsche 911 because even today after being designed all the way back in 1963 it is still instantly recognisable and timelessly beautiful.
