We are delighted to confirm that we will be able to offer 5 lucky readers a pair of tickets to the 2013 Sywell Classic Piston & Props event.
This is a brand new event for 2013. A two-day motoring festival celebrating classic vehicles – both on the ground and in the air. Held at Northamptonshire’s Sywell Aerodrome on the 28th and 29th Sept 2013, Sywell Classic will combine classic cars, motorbikes and planes with all aspects of vintage lifestyle and entertainment.
We are informed that we can expect high-octane live action, amazing aerial displays breathtaking classic vehicle displays, great family entertainment vintage and classic traders.
“Sywell Classic brings together the best of all the classic motoring events in the calendar, with amazing static displays, live action both on the ground and in the air, great family entertainment and a wide range of vintage and classic traders,” Event Director Tom Siddall explains.
“The facilities at Sywell Aerodrome are superb and it has a great atmosphere with its fantastic aviation museum and art deco buildings. There couldn’t be a better venue for an event of this kind.”
Dates and times
Saturday 28th Sept: 10am til 6.30pm
Sunday 29th Sept: 10am til 5pm
Tickets prices for those that do not win a pair with us are:
Adult tickets: £14 in advance or £17 on the door.
Child tickets (aged 5 to 15): £5 in advance or £7 on the door
Children under 5 years are free.
Family ticket (2 adults, 2 children): £33 in advance or £40 on the door

Well I attended last years stunning display at Sywell which was very well received by the large crowd in attendance.
This year adding the ” pistons ” is a stoke off genius which will bring an exciting new dimension to a great airshow in a fabulous setting.
Been waiting for months for this and will be attending if I win tickets or not.
Let’s hope the weather will be kind and I advise arriving early as it’s very popular and incoming traffic will cause congestion mid morning.
It looks like it’s going to be a great classic show and I’d love to take my classic mini thirty.
I’d love to win tickets to this show as it’s my boyfriends birthday that weekend. He loves cars and engines and anything vintage, you can tell with the old motors that are parked on our drive!! it would be an amazing present 🙂
